Vietnam-Korea Smart Education Model: A New Milestone for EdTech Export

In 2022, a Global Education Cooperation Report recognized Hello Science Edu's Smart Classroom Pilot as a milestone for Korean EdTech exports and public education innovation in Vietnam. The report highlighted how our model—combining Korean technology, Vietnamese educational expertise, and government collaboration—created a replicable framework for digital transformation in public schools.

The significance was clear: this wasn't just a pilot. It was a blueprint.

From Classroom Pilot to National Policy

The report was proposed as an official agenda item by Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), signaling the project's strategic importance to national education policy. This wasn't a private sector initiative operating in isolation. It was a government-endorsed model for how technology could transform public education.

The model was built on three pillars:

1. Korean Technology
The classroom was equipped with tablets, VR headsets, and smart TVs—powered by Korean technology and supported by Samsung Electronics and the Korean government.

2. Vietnamese Expertise
Hello Science Edu brought deep understanding of Vietnam's education system, curriculum requirements, and classroom realities. The pilot was designed around Vietnamese teachers and students, not imported from elsewhere.

3. Government Collaboration
The pilot was implemented with the support of Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, and Thu Đức City's education authorities. This wasn't a private experiment—it was a public sector partnership.

What This Means for the Future

The report's recognition was significant for several reasons. For the first time, a Korean EdTech model had been validated in Vietnam's public education system. It set a precedent for how international technology companies can collaborate with local education authorities to create meaningful impact.
